At JJs Dentistry, we take the utmost of care to protect both our staff and patients. You can be rest assured that we will still strive to provide the highest dental care possible during this time, whilst following the most stringent hygiene practices.
As an added measure to curb the spread of any virus or illness, we are certified practitioners in Slow Dentistry.
The aim of Slow dentistry is to improve the standards of dental care to ensure your well-being, safety, and understanding.
Slow dentistry involves:
Fully effective anaesthetic is used in the area of the mouth to be treated (if required).
A rubber dam is used for root canal treatments and other treatments where the teeth need to be isolated to prevent cross-contamination.
We do a complete and appropriate disinfection of the dental practice in accordance with universal and country-specific guidelines to avoid cross-contamination (washing and disinfecting hands, dental chair, handles, floor, surfaces etc).
All patients will be fully informed of the risks and rewards of the procedure, and will need to sign a consent form.
